Children's Hospital Teen Clinic

"The Power of Art"

in partnership with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center

A project of the 2002 ArtWorks Summer Program

  • Located in the Teen Clinic Waiting Area and exam rooms on the 1 st Floor of the A Building at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, 3333 Burnet Ave - Avondale
Internationally renowned graffiti artist Stephen Powers led apprentices in this project. Panels in the Teen Clinic exam rooms and waiting area tell the story of Cliff and Ivy, two fictional teens, and issues they face in their lives. Short films created by local teenage filmmakers play on TVs in the waiting area and inspirational words and phrases like "Believe" and "Don't Worry" embellish the walls.
