Brimming with architectural landmarks and German heritage, the Clifton Heights mural directly reflects the surrounding neighborhood. A warm “Wilkommen,” or welcome, is painted across the top of the mural inspired by the Fairview German Language School building. By depicting several iconic structures and scenes, like Old St. George, Hughes High School, and the Bradford pear trees seen blooming in the spring, this mural helps to recognize and contribute to the ongoing preservation and revitalization of this truly unique neighborhood.
