Roselawn Mural

“Jubilant Rhythms of Roselawn”
A project of the 2007 ArtWorks Summer Program

  • Servpro of East Central Cincinnati – 1850 Summit Rd.  Cincinnati, OH 45237
  • Mural dedicated September 2007
Roselawn Mural

Once upon a time, the Servpro wall in Roselawn was bare and white. Now, erasing that blank memory, the wall has been painted with enthusiasm by the MuralWorks Apprentices and shines in a rainbow of colors. The biggest wall undertaken in the MuralWorks program (128’ x 18’), the design they created was inspired by discussions with the community, where words such as “family,” “diversity,” and “nature” were brainstormed and then incorporated into the design.

Apprentices also worked together to create sentences that serve as a description for their design and for Roselawn. One sentence reads “Beautiful Roselawn, a field of dreams where our roots grow deeply, watered by our tears and sweat, a beacon shining for all that is good in our world.”  The mural is as beautiful as these words.
